  • Depression and anxiety disorders

  • Trauma and PTSD

  • Bipolar disorder and mood disorders

  • Postpartum depression and perinatal mental health

Built out of lived experience
on both sides of the system

Our founder, Jackie Hamed, spent years watching a model of care where volume came before depth and patients left appointments with prescriptions but not with real answers. That frustration became the foundation of her philosophy: medication is a bridge, not a destination. Her goal is never lifelong dependence on a prescription - it is the kind of healing that sticks because the patient built it themselves, with support, structure, and intention.

Our other provider, Beverly Glavan, has over 20 years of nursing experience in emergency medicine, the NICU, and family medicine, offering a unique perspective in psychiatry. After personally navigating the mental health system as a mother, she emphasizes the importance of guiding families honestly through their options. As MindWell's ADHD specialist, her focus is on helping individuals and families understand its impact on daily life and relationships, enabling them to build effective coping strategies.

Do you...

Feel exhausted no matter how much rest you get, like your mind never fully stops running?

Lie awake at night overthinking situations you cannot change, or worrying about ones that have not even happened yet?

Feel like you are barely keeping up at work, at home, or in your relationships, no matter how hard you try?

Struggle to focus, follow through, or stay organized in ways that feel bigger than just bad habits?

Carry sadness, anxiety, or emotional heaviness that you cannot fully explain, even to the people closest to you?

Feel like you are holding everything together on the outside while quietly falling apart on the inside?

Find yourself wondering if the way you feel is "normal," or if something real is going on that deserves attention?

Feel like every provider you have seen was in too much of a hurry to actually understand you?

These experiences are real.

If any of this sounds familiar, you are in the right place. These experiences are real, they are more common than you might think, and they are exactly the kinds of challenges we are here to help you work through.

Medication can quiet the noise. But real healing is built one step at a time, and we build it with you.

How We Help

We do not take a one-size-fits-all approach. Every treatment plan at MindWell is built around who you are, what you are carrying, and what you genuinely need to feel better and function well.

Medication Management

So that the noise quiets down enough for you to think clearly, sleep better, and show up for your life again. We walk you through every option, explain what to expect, and adjust your plan as you grow.

Person-Centered Therapy

So that you finally feel heard, not hurried. Every session starts with you, your story, your pace, and what you need most that day.

Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT)

So that the thoughts keeping you stuck at 2am stop running the show. CBT gives you practical tools to shift unhelpful patterns and build the kind of emotional steadiness you can take anywhere.

Lifestyle and Exercise Counseling

So that your daily habits start working with your mental health instead of against it. We help you build sustainable routines around movement, sleep, and self-care that support your healing from the inside out.

Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT)

So that hard emotions stop pulling you off course. ACT helps you move through difficult seasons without losing sight of what matters most to you.

Our Approach

Our Approach

A HAVEN FOR HEALING

Realizing that you need help is a big turning point. But we know that the next step is just as tough: asking for help. Our goal, therefore, is to provide a venue where clients can freely express their struggles, building relationships anchored on confidence and trust.

REAL PEOPLE, NOT CASES

While being proud professionals, we strive to remain rooted in our genuine desire to help others. We invest in understanding every client's situation and do not rush to conclusions. We value the individuality of every person and tailor our treatment for each one.

TREATING WHILE EDUCATING

Before moving forward to treatment, we make it a point that our clients have a clear understanding of their condition and how it needs to be addressed. And we extend this to family and friends whose role is vital to the recovery of their loved ones. As practitioners, we are also advocates and educators.

BEYOND RECOVERY, GROWTH

Our aim is to achieve more than recovery but to guide individuals to becoming better versions of themselves. We want to be contributors to a happier, more resilient, and more productive community.

Accepted Insurances

Our team strives to make quality mental health services accessible to all community members, regardless of class. We therefore try to accommodate as many insurance policies as possible. Alternatively, direct payments are accepted. Please feel free to inquire to learn more.
